The Seventh Day of Health & Wellness

On the 7th day of Christmas my true love gave to me... no excuses!

Move your body!!!

😉

It's that magical time of the year when many of us are determined to make a change to our health. We make resolutions to eat better and workout more. Gym memberships skyrocket.

Change doesn't have to be drastic and overnight. In fact if you commit yourself to small changes... baby steps... you may have greater success at achieving your goals.

All of the suggestions I've been making in my *12 Days of Christmas or Health & Wellness* posts are things that can be done over time, bit by bit. In doing so, first upping your water intake, then fibre... vitamins... adjusting portions... lowering stress, etc. you may find that your body and mind begins to change and you keep to your goal(s). By starting slowly adding in just a few minutes of exercise a day (upping your minutes or intensity or types of workouts) you will see an improvement in your overall being -- but! It's not going to happen overnight.

Slow and steady wins the race.

No time like today to start 😁đŸ’ȘđŸ„‚đŸŽ‰

Seriously though. Where there's a will there's a way and it can be as simple as parking farther away from the shops or mall or work or opting for the stairs over the elevator. Even just a 10 minute walk/run, workout or yoga/stretch routine a day can provide huge benefits.

Happy New Year!â€đŸ„‚đŸŽ‰đŸ’Ș
