Food is one of life's great pleasures.
It sustains and nurtures us -- but it also helps us form social attachments especially when we sit down to enjoy it together.
In todays fast paced world we are losing sight of what eating real food, moderately and slowly can do for us.
Our health. Our lives. Our enjoyment of something simple, basic and necessary to our existence... ❤
Let's stop fighting food.
Let's stop fighting ourselves. Let's instead take a step back and learn to appreciate food; our ability to feed ourselves by making food from scratch as much as possible and in turn, maybe learning to love ourselves a little bit more. Without doubt we will be healthier for it!
So I say...
Fuck it. Eat what you want...the bread, the cheese, the butter, the wine, the chocolate... the abundance of beautiful fruits and vegetables that deserve to be appreciated so much more!
Just do it all conciously and in moderation.
